How to get to Disneyland Paris (explicit guide)

In this article we will thoroughly analyze all possible ways of going to Disneyland starting from either Paris airports or the center of the capital. So, you will be totally ready and better prepared for a pleasant, uninterrupted journey.

Start with choosing your airport 👇

Getting to Disney from Charles De Gaulle (CDG) airport

Charles de Gaulle is the largest airport in Paris. Arriving there you will find that it is a vast airport, but do not panic, all you need is to keep your eyes open and follow the signs. Starting from CDG Airport, you can get to Disneyland in the following ways:

Take the RER (total travel time 70 ‘- 80’)

RER is Paris’s suburban train and is considered the most economical way to get to Disneyland Paris. The RER stations in Charles de Gaulle airport are in Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.

If you land on Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 , all you have to do is follow the signs “Paris by train – RER” until you reach the RER station.

If you land on Terminal 1 , you have to locate and follow the signs leading to  CDGVAL shuttle.  The CDGVAL shuttle is a small indoor train at Charles de Gaulle Airport, used for travel from one terminal to another and it is free of charge. Get off at Terminal 3 – Roissypole.  The RER will get you first to Paris and then with a simple change to Disneyland.

How to get to disney

When you arrive at the RER station, you will need to buy tickets. In the vending machine, you have to select  Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy (MLV Chessy) as your final destination. This is where Disneyland is located.

Afterward you will get in the RER B and get off at the station Châtelet – Les Halles.   There you will make the change and you will get in the RER A  to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy, where Disneyland is located.

You do not have to buy a ticket again because you have already prepaid both CDG -> Châtelet – Les Halles and Châtelet – Les Halles -> Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy routes.

Hotel buses are also outside the station and the transition to Disney hotels is free .

With Magical Shuttle (total travel time 50 ‘- 60’)

The Magical Shuttle (or VEA) is a specially designed red coach that runs directly from all Paris airports to Disneyland and Tumblin. All you need to do is follow the signs at the airport leading to the Magical Shuttle. An adult ticket costs 20€ and you can close it by here .

By private shuttle/ Uber (total travel time 40 ‘- 45’)

If you are more than 2 people it may be worthwhile renting a private van with a driver to transport you to and from Disneyland or Paris. In this case the total cost may be less than the Magical Shuttle, this depends on the period and the demand. The advantage is what you choose at the times you want to pick up from your airport and your trip is much quicker and more comfortable. You can find more here . There are dozens of packages available from Viator .

Rent a car

If you want a greater degree of autonomy and flexibility, car hire is a great option.

Getting to Disney from Orly (ORY) airport

Take the RER (estimated time 70′ – 80′)

You can also choose the RER (suburban) to transfer to Disneyland. In this case, estimate that you will need approximately 1.30 + hours to reach your destination, because unfortunately there is no direct RER from Orly to Disneyland.

First you need to get the airport shuttle OrlyVal, which connects the Orly airport with Paris (this is not free). You will get off at the station Antony.

At Antony you’ll get in the RER B to the main station of Paris Châtelet – Les Halles.

When you arrive at Châtelet – Les Halles, you will have to change train again and take the RER A to the station Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy (MLV Chessy) , where Disneyland Paris is located.

Getting to Disney from Beauvais (BVA) airport

Beauvais is the third and smallest airport in Paris. It is located 88 kilometers from Paris and 130 kilometers from Disneyland. Unfortunately there are no trains to Paris from Beauvais airport. You can either pick a coach or drive to get to Disney.

However, if you are more than 3 people, it is suggested as a perfect solution to rent a shuttle, which will pick you up from the point and time you choose and will carry you comfortably to your destination. Private shuttle services are very common in France and, depending on the number of passengers, can offer excellent rates.

Alternatively, you can take the airport shuttle, which will take you to Paris – Porte Maillot. The cost is 15,90€ if you book it online and 17€ if you book it at the airport.

When you arrive at Porte Maillot, you will have to get in the Metro Line 1 direction Château de Vincennes and you will get off at the stop Charles De Gaulle Etoile.

At Charles De Gaulle Etoile you will get in the RER A heading to Marne-la-Vallée – Chessy (MLV Chessy) , where Disneyland is located.
